Notice the Pattern
Explore anxiety triggers, recurring worries, and the beliefs beneath them.
MY APPROACH
A compassionate, collaborative space to explore your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and choices.
I believe our thoughts influence how we feel and how we respond to life’s challenges. Therapy is a collaborative process: we work together to better understand you and the connections between your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and choices.
By examining deeply held beliefs and recurring thought patterns, we can explore different ways of seeing yourself and responding to your life. You decide what matters to you and what you want to change.
At times, I may gently challenge a thought or belief to help you consider another perspective. You decide whether that way of thinking supports the life you want.
There is room for questions, uncertainty, and honest conversation. We work together, with respect for your experiences and your choices.
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
CBT helps us look at how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect. We may notice patterns in your thinking, examine whether a belief is helpful, and consider a different perspective.
For depression, we may work on grounding and recognizing cognitive distortions. For anxiety, we may explore your triggers, the thoughts connected to your worries, and the beliefs beneath them.
I draw from CBT, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, journaling, and practical skill-building. Together, we can practice responding to yourself with greater compassion and find tools that fit your goals.
YOUR PREFERENCES MATTER
A useful starting point is telling Gabe what you want from the conversation.
Explore anxiety triggers, recurring worries, and the beliefs beneath them.
Practice grounding and recognize cognitive distortions. Every thought does not have to be accepted as fact.
Use mindfulness, journaling, and assertiveness practice to support your goals and self-compassion.
GOOD TO KNOW
No. You can ask Gabe about his approaches and discuss which may fit your concerns.
You don’t need a background in philosophy to inquire about counseling. Ask Gabe how the practice name relates to his work and what that would mean for your sessions.
YOUR NEXT STEP
No perfect explanation needed. Tell Gabe a little about what you’re looking for.
